Charleston, SC-  Country superstar Taylor Swift recently decided to take a 3 day
mini-vacation in Charleston. Swift’s blog says, “I found a three day
window in August and invited all the girls you see onstage (one fiddle
player, one backup singer, two dancers, three aerialists) to go with me
to one of the places on my list (this particular place was underlined,
with stars drawn next to it, indicating that I reeeeally wanted to go
there): Charleston, South Carolina.”  Charleston quickly lit up the
Twittersphere with reports of Swift shopping downtown, taking boat cruises, playing on the beach and having dinner.  One local restaurant
she visited, Water’s Edge, reported that Swift ordered the grilled
salmon, with cucumber-dill sauce, saffron rice and grilled asparagus.
Although Swift has performed in Charleston before she claims to never
had the opportunity
to experience the area.  After her three days were
over Swift said she was, ” Saying goodbye to
the coolest three days
ever.”

She brought along more than just her girl friends. The owner of downtown’s Copper Penny tried to get a photo of Swift for the store and was stopped by Swift’s body guards.  i wonder if she brought a chef with her too which is why we only have this one restaurant stop to report.
